Public affairs has to evolve when governments around the world are increasingly willing to make high-impact decisions quickly: from tariffs and energy transitions to monetary, digital, industrial and climate policies. It must build additional capabilities across four broad dimensions: policy sensing, scenario planning, second-order impact assessment and stakeholder communication readiness.
